DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. It provides students with leadership opportunities at the local, state, and national levels.
In order to join DECA at Green Level High School, you must be enrolled in either Entrepreneurship I, Entrepreneurship II or Business Essentials during the current school year or have completed the career pathway associated with DECA. For DECA that means you have completed the Entrepreneurship Pathway (Entrepreneurship I and Entrepreneurship II courses). If you have completed the career pathway associated with this CTSO, you are still required to be enrolled in a CTE course for the current school year, however it can be any CTE course that is offered at Green Level high school. Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a national Career and Technical Student Organization that provides personal growth, leadership development, and career preparation opportunities for students in Family and Consumer Sciences education.
In order to join FCCLA at Green Level High School, you must be enrolled in either Food and Nutrition I or Food and Nutrition II during the school year or have completed the career pathway associated with FCCLA. For FCCLA that means you have completed the Food and Nutrition Pathway (Food and Nutrition I and Food and Nutrition II courses). If you have completed the career pathway associated with this CTSO, you are still required to be enrolled in a CTE course for the current school year, however it can be any CTE course that is offered at Green Level high school. FBLA is organized on local, state, and national levels. FBLA is one of the largest business career student organization in the world. It provides students opportunities to develop and apply leadership, social, civic, and business-related skills.
In order to join FBLA at Green Level High School, you must be enrolled in either AP Computer Science, Entrepreneurship I, Entrepreneurship II, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, Business Essentials, Python Programming I, or Python Programming II during the school year or have completed a career pathway associated with FBLA. For FBLA that means you have completed either the AP Computer Science Principles Pathway (AP Computer Science Principles and AP Computer Science A courses) or the Python Programming Pathway (Python Programming I and Python Programming II courses) or the Entrepreneurship Pathway (Entrepreneurship I and Entrepreneurship II courses). If you have completed a career pathway associated with this CTSO, you are still required to be enrolled in a CTE course for the current school year, however it can be any CTE course that is offered at Green Level high school. |
.FFA is the premier youth organization preparing members for leadership and careers in the science, business and technology of agriculture.
In order to join FFA at Green Level High School, you must be enrolled in either Animal Science I, Animal Science II, Horticulture I or Horticulture II during the school year or have completed a career pathway associated with FFA. For FFA that means you have completed either the Animal Science Pathway (Animal Science I and Animal Science II courses) or the Plant Systems Pathway (Horticulture I and Horticulture II courses). If you have completed a career pathway associated with this CTSO, you are still required to be enrolled in a CTE course for the current school year, however it can be any CTE course that is offered at Green Level high school. |
HOSA www.hosa.org/The purpose of HOSA-Future Health Professionals is to develop leadership and technical HOSA skill competencies through a program of motivation, awareness and recognition, which is an integral part of the Health Science Education instructional program.
In order to join HOSA at Green Level High School, you must be enrolled in either Health Science I or Biomedical Technology I during the current school year or have completed a career pathway associated with HOSA. For HOSA that means you have completed either the Health Science Professional Career Pathway (Health Science I and Health Science II courses) or the Biomedical Technology Career Pathway (Health Science I and Biomedical Technology courses). If you have completed a career pathway associated with this CTSO, you are still required to be enrolled in a CTE course for the current school year, however it can be any CTE course that is offered at Green Level high school. |
